Sandblasting Room is designed and fabricated as per the size requested by the customer. The components may be different on the basis of requests of customer. It is often equipped with one or two main doors for material access.

The structure of the room may consist either of steel walls or self-bearing panels with polyurethane insulation. The internal walls are lined with wear-proof rubber. The floor is made of steel grating, which cover the automatic recovery system for abrasive. The material handling can be done by trolleys or by overhead crane.

The room includes pedestrian access doors, lighting system, fixed walkways or mobile platforms for the sand-blasting of the higher parts, manual shot-blasting unit, ventilation and dust extraction system, and self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.

Applications:

The blast room contains the abrasive being shot at the work piece as well as providing lighting and ventilation for the operator's safety. The abrasive and surface particle mix (i.e. paint chips, surface rust, mill scale, etc.) are collected by the floor reclamation system and brought back to the classifier to separate reusable abrasive from waste. The reusable abrasive is stored in a bin above the blast machine and is ready for the cycle to start again.
